To Modify Assembly Components

This procedure will describe how to modify individual components within an assembly and save the changes to the assembly.

Select Assembly Manager from the PID Tools ribbon.
Navigate to the assembly in the tree and select the desired component to modify.
Click the Details button to displays the component properties.
Make the necessary changes to the component properties.
When finished, click the Save Assembly button. The component changes will be saved to the assembly.
Note: If you press Insert without saving the component changes, you will be prompted to save the changes to the assembly. If you click Yes, then the definition of the assembly will be permanently changes. If you click No, then the changes will apply to that one instance only.
